Setting the Scene: Skin Prep & Atmosphere
To start, I spent a lot of time with skincare. I have found that the more I give in the beginning with luxurious products, tool stimulation, and massage, the better the skin looks with less of a need to pack on foundation and powder. I love seeing the woman wearing the makeup, not the makeup wearing the woman.
I began by setting the vibe in the room using Skinesiology Auric Mist in scent “Female Warrior” and my Aretha Franklin playlist played on my UE roll speaker.
I infused a base layer of moisture using Natura Bissé Diamond Mist. This offers instant hydration and vitality. Then, I applied Diamond Instant Glow which exfoliates, brightens and lifts. It’s perfect for a big game day event! Finally, I spent a generous amount of time massaging in the Natura Bissé Vitamin C+C Cream using my favorite Pause Facia Stimulating Tool.
Now for the cosmetic layer!
For the first of two looks:
First, I primed Amy’s skin using Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer. This smoothed the skin’s texture so I could sparingly use Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 3 for a flawless finish. Next, I highlighted under the eyes using Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Concealer in shade 3.75.
For Amy’s cheeks, I layered Jamie Makeup cream blushes — first “The Nude One” with a pop of “The Coral One” on the apples of her cheeks. Then I used Armani Beauty Neo Nude Fusion Powder in shade 9 to define the hollows of her cheeks and jawline.
For Amy’s eyes, I based the center of her lid using Armani Beauty Eye Tint in shade 9, and then Armani Beauty Eye Quattro palette in shade 8 “Festival”. I mixed the darker brown with the peachy tone to contour the eye and smoke out the outside edge. Then I popped the gold tone of the same palette on the center of the lid. Next, I took Armani Beauty Eyes To Kill Designer Eyeliner in shade 3 “Cobalt”, and very tightly lined her upper lash line. This made the blue of her eyes pop! Then, I smudged a line underneath using Armani Beauty Smooth Silk Eye Pencil in shade 2. I then finished the look with two coats of Armani Beauty Classico Mascara in shade 1.
For Amy’s lips, I based them using Armani Beauty Lip Maestro in shade 101, and then added a bright pop of Lip Maestro Freeze in shade 304.
For the second look:
I took her eye shadow down by blending a little bit of Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation over the lid to soften the tones and shadows, and added a bright pop of classic color to her lips using Armani Beauty Lip Maestro in shade 400.
