Kelley Baker is a celebrity makeup artist turned full-fledged brow expert. Not only has she been entrusted by some of Hollywood's biggest names like the Kardashians, Addison Rae, Zendaya, and Shay Mitchell for the perfect arch, but she's also taken her expertise that much further by creating her very own brand of brow products and taking to social media to provide tips and tutorials. Q: How did you get into brows?
I started as a makeup artist. Beauty school was always a backup plan, but once I joined, I met Damone Roberts in class who was already focusing on eyebrows. He took me under his wing. I was his main stylist from then on.
Q: How would you describe your brow philosophy?
Less is more, everyone can have great brows, and that it’s all about using the right products and being patient.
Q: What do you love most about your work?
I love the interaction with people, being able to create beautiful brows, and seeing clients leave happy.
Q: Where do you find inspiration?
I do love Pinterest!
Q: When you think of all of the brow styles you’ve created with your clients, is there a favorite that comes to mind? What is it?
Yes, Zendaya and all of the Kardashians.
Q: What are some of your personal favorite products you can’t live without?
NARS concealer, NARS and Too Faced foundation, my Beautyblender, my Three Bee Kit, and KVD tattoo liner.
