Behind The Brow Mask: Elevating Your Brow Routine with Sarah Maxwell

Makeup artist Sarah Maxwell tells us about the inspiration behind her new product, The Brow Mask, and shares some tips and tricks for adding it into your routine.

Sarah Maxwell is a Los Angeles-based lash expert and makeup artist whose clients range from A-list celebrities to corporate executives. In addition to the work she does for her clients, she also has her own namesake beauty brand which she launched in 2018, allowing her to provide her exclusive products and expert techniques to the world at large! In recent days, Sarah has launched a brand new product — The Brow Mask — the ultimate lifting treatment made from hydrogel to promote healthy brow growth. Look no further than this mask to totally up your brow game. In honor of this product launch, Sarah chatted with us to discuss her inspiration behind developing the product, and some do's and don'ts for using it to its fullest potential. Read on for more, as told by Sarah herself.

The Inspiration Behind The Brow Mask

My inspiration for developing The Brow Mask came directly from my clients, one in particular in this case. As I was doing her lashes, we began discussing how we had yet to see a hydrogel mask on the market specifically made for brows. That conversation inspired me to create The Brow Mask to help fill a need for my clients as well as consumers in general. My product development ideas always stem from the amazing women I get to work with, the conversations we have, and the beauty-related questions they have for me.

Getting the Most Out of The Brow Mask: Sarah’s Expert Tips

Tip #1

It is always best to use The Brow Mask on freshly washed skin. Sarah Maxwell Beauty’s LAUNDER is recommended for cleansing, as it’s gentle and nourishes the skin. Be sure to pat your brows dry before applying The Brow Mask, and use it before applying eye cream.

Tip #2

For best results, I recommend using The Brow Mask two to three times a week before bed. Leave it on for approximately twenty minutes. It’s a nice way to treat your brows to some TLC at the end of the day.

Tip #3

Don’t wipe the excess serum off once the hydrogel patch is removed. Instead, tap and press the remaining product into the eye area, gently massaging it under the eye and lid area. The serum is full of juicy ingredients like hyaluronic acid, to hydrate and nourish your skin.

Tip #4

Finish off your nightly routine with your favorite eye cream, if you desire. My favorites include Agent Nateur’s Ageless Eye Serum for oilier skins, and Shiva Rose’s Blue Crystal Eye Cream for drier skins.
